Aurelia and the Sungazing Protocol

Aurelia is a sungazing app for the first and last forty-five minutes of the Sun. It times the safe window for your own horizon, keeps a ladder of sessions on your device, and gathers the long reading behind the practice — the Sungazing Protocol, the Horizon articles, and the sky beyond the Sun.

The app and these books are the work of John Robert O’Callam. Aurelia is kept by Light of the Vine Ministries, a nonprofit. Any gift supports us and the people we serve.

The app creator reports that sungazing has been the most significant practice in their mental-health routine and believes others may find it helpful. They obtained regular optometric examinations and fundus photography over years of practice and report no evidence of solar retinopathy. That personal result is not a guarantee of safety for anyone else.
